"Run In" is much more than just a race, it’s a concept: it's a bit like some works of modern art, but a lot easier to understand. Indeed, ‘Run In’, is a Festival of Running which is held in France’s most beautiful cities and boasts several routes so that everyone can join in the celebration. It’s simple, isn’t it?
If you’re going to run, you might as well do it in places that are worth visiting. So "Run In" takes place in wonderful cities, full of history and culture. Would you like to visit a museum or discover the local heritage before your race? Rest assured: it’s a method of relaxation that’s fully authorised!
With criteria like this, the Coronation City logically became one of the "Run In" events in 2015, after Lyon which started off the series in 2013, and Marseille which joined it in 2014. Each ‘Run In’ event is named according to its host city: Run In Marseille, Run In Lyon and Run In Reims... So hopefully the concept should be clear to you now.
Whether you are a local or from much further afield, "Run In" is an opportunity to discover or rediscover these cities. It may be while you are running, but it will be on routes that are specially reserved for you.
THREE ROUTES FOR THREE KINDS OF RUNNERS
The other specific feature of "Run In" is that it has been created as an event that is open to everyone. Whether you are a running fan who even trains during the holidays or a more tranquil jogger, who sees jogging as a way of getting into the jeans they wore when they were 20, your rightful place is in this race!
Three routes have been designed to meet the wishes and requirements of everyone: a 10k, a Half-Marathon and a Marathon. So you have no excuse (and neither do your friends or family) to not join us on Sunday 15th October 2017.
So all you have to do is to register and book your visit of the cellars for an after race tasting session in the vineyards of the Champagne region. We are really looking forward to welcoming you!
